Ashleigh Muhlrad
Ashleigh Muhlrad brings over 20 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to student well-being to her role as a School Psychologist at Building Blocks Therapy. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University, Ashleigh spent two decades teaching elementary school students. This foundation gave her invaluable insight into the academic and emotional needs of young learners.
Driven by her passion for supporting student development, Ashleigh transitioned into school psychology, earning a Specialist in School Psychology degree from Nova Southeastern University and gaining hands-on experience during her internship with Broward County Public Schools.
At Building Blocks Therapy, Ashleigh specializes in psychological evaluations to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges. She develops tailored strategies to address academic difficulties, emotional distress, and social challenges, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments. Beyond evaluations, Ashleigh is dedicated to fostering positive mental health through programs that enhance overall well-being and provide individualized support for children navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, or social difficulties. Ashleigh’s unique combination of teaching expertise and psychological training ensures that every child has the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
